Ramping Up to 3,000 MegaWatts by 2025

House Joint Resolution No. 605 is quickly making its way through the Virginia General Assembly. (Click here to read the bill.)
The resolution calls for the establishment of the National Offshore Wind Technology Center in Hampton Roads, “filling a void of technology development and demonstration in the offshore wind industry in the United States”. The resolution also spells out a terrific list of reasons on why the Commonwealth is ideal for location of this national facility.
